Sista's BFP ♀♂

11 July 2013

One of the sistas in SMH also with Dr B is scheduled for BT today... Wished her good luck in the morning and whole morning keep refreshing the page excited for her update.

We are supposed to be cycle buddy.. but..... my cycle stepped brake due to the OHSS..... sigh...

We have been chatting before we start our cycle, updating on our jabs, scan, ER and her ET... Going through the good and bad news together. She is one positive lady... every news to her be it good or bad, she take it so positively... Unlike me.... easily emo....

" Baby dust to all" I saw her update..... I am feeling so happy and excited from her and I can feel her joy in every words she type....   She gave me hope and faith on  Dr B's magic hands ..... I really hope I can graduate and join her soon....

Oh... her HCG is 1500+ and high high chance that she should be carrying twins... Congrats Gal......wish that you have a smooth smooth 9 months ... ♀♂

AF Day 8 - ?¿?¿

You all must be wondering... AF Day 8? Shouldn't it stopped already? Ya, my usual AF only lasted for 5 day.. but to-date, Aunty still refuse to leave me.. Since Day 1 to Day 8, my AF is like wipe got red, seldom can stain a pad and I am getting worried. With the advice from the sistas, I decided to call the nurse for help.

As the nurses were busy, I left a message for them to call me but till 2pm there is still not news.. so I decided to call them again. I called and called for 1 and half hour but the line is engaged. Decided to drop a message to complaint in the group chat about the engaged line for so long and then I finally managed to get through. Haha.....

Told the nurse about my problem and she ask "did you BD during the ivf cycle?" I say yes... but I use rubber... *shy..

Nurse say "rubber also not 100%. You better test..." I was like "huh? test for pregnancy? how can it be?" Anyway the nurse say if tested and negative, the suppression jab on day 14 should be able to help. It may be just some messy hormones working after the stimulation jab...

I tested and of cos it negative.... It will be the greatest news if it BFP...

"Use rubber can BFP ?? and when I never use rubber for so many years its always BFN ?¿?¿" Haha..

 + = ??????

AF Day 2 - 3rd July 2013

Saw Dr B today to start my medicated FET. When Dr B see me his first question is " so how is your bloatedness?" So impressed that even though he has so many patients, he can still remember that I have bloatedness before looking at my file.. ♥

Dr B then ask me" so you want to transfer back asap right?" without any hesitation I say "YES!!!"

He then took out the medicated FET schedule  and explained to me on the procedure from today till FET and I also confirmed with him that he will not be away.. He smiled and assured me not to worried that he will definitely be around.. haha... So for now, I will take mercilon from today for 21 days, Day 14, I will need to go for a buttock suppression jab. When the next AF comes, I will need to take a BT to ensure that the hormones are fully suppressed and will start Progynova to build the lining. Scan will be on D14 and if lining is right, I am on my way to unite with my embbies...

I also ask Dr B on his opinion to use the Day 3 snow babies or the blastocyst snow babies for this cycle, patiently he explained to me the different scenarios but he did advise that blastocyst had better chance which I read it everywhere too.

Scenarios 1 - use Blastocyst Day 6 Snowbabies

Snowbabies will be thawed once the lining reaches it required thickness. After thaw, embbies will be put in 6 days from the lining reaches it required thickness.

Advantage:
Better chance for BFP and the next stage will be hatch and implant. Unlike Day 3 still need to grow which *touchwood some might not survive.

Disadvantage:
If *touchwood one of the blastocyst dun survive, I will only be left with 1 to transfer. Not able to mix the Day 3 and Day 6 embbies.

Scenarios 2 - use Day 3 Snowbabies

Snowbabies will be thawed once the lining reaches it required thickness. After thaw, embbies will be put in 3 days from the lining reaches it required thickness.

Advantages
If *touchwood 2 out of the 3 Day 3 snowbabies dun survive, I can still thaw the Day 6 Blastocyst snowbabies to make the numbers to 2 for ET..  Dr B say " But it will also means only 1 time chance for FET but we want you to get pregnant just with 1 FET".... ♥♥

Disadvantage
Day 3 snowbabies may or may not continue to grow to blastocyst and hatch out for implantation. Therefore, if *touchwood bfn, the reason cannot be ascertain clearly.

Such a Dilemma right???

Dr B vs ♥Jay♥

While chatting with the sistas in the group chat, I realised 2 of the sistas, V & L also "love" Jay and  went to his concert in June 2013 too. We then started chatting about Jay. L was quite quiet over the conversation while V and me almost had a cat fight over Jay... Hahaha...

V is also with Dr B and she keep saying that she will not fight over Dr B with me and Jay is hers... Haha....She even told me "Jay ♥ her" " Jay is meeting her later" kekeke... I cannot help but keep laughing and rolling on the sofa over V's cuteness.. For a moment, hubby thought I was crazy...

I thought for a while and feel that I must announce this here to V: " My Love for Dr B and Jay is different. For Dr B, I am full of admiration for his professionalism, care and concern for his patients. He give me hope and never fail to make me feel emotionally positive after talking to him, I can never forget this statement; I want you to get pregnant safely." Dr B is so sweet, isn't he?

My LOVE for Jay is different..... I L♥VE him DEEP DEEP...... Want to see him, want to dream of him, want to......*censored*........  It just so difficult to describe my LOVE for him or maybe no words can describe...... keke.. So V... " I will continue to fight Jay with you" .... =)

* PS: Hubby... I still LOVE you too..... Unconditional and Infinity ♥Love♥.....
(♥ for Jay x infinity = Love♥ for Hubby) Lets Jiayou to produce our Baby.....

Embbies at Day 5 and 6

26th June - Appt with Dr B

Dr B greeted me with a fresh and happy good morning and ask how am I again. and I say " No good".

Dr B gave me a worried look and ask me "what happen?". I replied " only left with 3 snow babies". Dr B gave me a comforting smile and assured me ..." Dun be sad okie... 3 is enough.. usually thawing 75% will survive.. so if we thaw 3, you will still have 2 to transfer. Just that you wont have any for 2nd FET but I hope you will get pregnant with just this transfer... Just be a little unhappy and not sad okie" " and you have another 6 cultivating, who knows maybe 2 will become blastocyst and you will have 5 snow babies." He also apologise for not able to talk to me when I called on Day 3 as he was busy...

Hmm.. such comforting words.. how can I bear not to say " okie, I will just be a little unhappy".. Dr B asked me to see him when my AF report and he will discuss with me on the FET procedure and date.
I think I am falling deeply in love with Dr B.. keke

27th June - Day 6 Embbies

I thought the embryologist is supposed to call me yesterday but I did not received any call.. I am starting to get worried. Maybe my 6 embbies didn't survive and they didn't want to break the bad news to me. At about 10am, I pick up the courage to call the nurse who called the embryologist to call me.

" 4 of your embbies have stopped growing and we are still monitor 2 hoping that they will turn blastocyst by afternoon. If not, we will have to give up on them too"

My heart sank... keep praying and praying.. Totally have no mood to work.........

Late afternoon, I see the familiar number again... Its the embryologist. I took a deep breath and answered the call. " We will be freezing the 2 embryos as they have become a blastocyst." Finally one good news....... So all in all I have 3 Day 3 embbies and 2 blastocyst.. 5 snow babies.... Then I thought isn't that what Dr B predicated? or he already know?? hmmmmm.....

Day 3 - Embbies

Back to work today.. Was feeling a bit painful on the tummy when I put on my heels but no choice got to "ren".

Reach office and keep looking at my hp again.... the wait is nerve wrecking..
Embryologist called and I received not so good news about it...

16 retrieved, 10 matures, 9 fertilised, 3 grade 2 (1 8cell and 2 6cells) and 6 below average (3 5cells and 2 6cells) dunno where did 1 more go to though... hmmm..

Embryologist informed that they will freeze the 3 grade 2 embbies and continue to culture the 6 below average hoping that they will become blastocyst. My heart sank after the phone call and really feel like crying.. I cannot accept the fact that after doing so much, I am only left with 3 which might not survive the thaw and I have nothing to transfer.

Suddenly I remember Dr B telling me if the embbies are not too good, he might want to do an emergency transfer. I quickly called the nurse and nurse asked me to go down immediately. I was like huh? immediately? How am I going to tell my boss?

5 minutes later the nurse called again. Dr B said its fine, he will freeze the embbies and will do ET in another cycle.

Day 1 - Embbies

Woke up at 8am.. still feeling very crampy. Hubby bought me breakfast and I took painkiller after. Kept looking at my phone waiting for the call from embryologist nervously.

At about 9.30am, my phone ring.. I have butterfly in my stomach when I answered the call. Embryologist informed that I have retrieved 16, 10 matured and 9 fertilised. Was a little disappointed as the numbers drop so drastically. Embryologist also informed that they will call me again to update on Monday.

Msg Hubby and shared with the sistas in the chat group on the numbers. Was feeling a bit down and worried that the survivor rate will be low and got nothing to transfer or freeze.

Lucky I have a group of very supportive sistas who  comforted me. Thanks sistas... You all have been so sweet and supportive.. Cannot imagine this cycle of ups and downs without you all.
